Brian Novotny is one of the founding members of Profilocity, and currently serves as Executive Vice President of the company. Brian is a proud alumni of the Texas A&M College of Engineering, and did his graduate studies at Southern Methodist University.Brian started his career in the powersports industry, working with one of the larger consolidators in the business. Brian quickly learned that sales and sales management was a passion of his, and pursued crafting his skills, working for two Global 100 companies, over the next few years.His father, having been in sales and sales management over 30 years, told him that if he wanted to be successful in sales, he should go sell copiers, if you can sell a copier, you can sell anything! With that mindset, Brian went to work for the largest copier company in the world and excelled. He became the fastest person in the company’s storied history to be promoted to senior sales executive.With his rapid success, he quickly was recruited by Siemens and went to work learning to manage both people and a quota over a far greater area.Brian decided to take his newly acquired skills back to the powersports industry and became a managing partner of a multi-line dealership in Texas, started his own related finance company, and acquired a GPS distributor serving customers as well as competitors.After exiting the dealership and finance company, Brian focused his efforts on distribution and became one of the largest volume independents in the GPS telematics business. With Brian’s diverse sales experience he brings a unique understanding of both Profits and Velocity to the Profilocity team. In his spare time, Brian has worked with intercity children across Texas, climbed mountains in North and South America, is a firearms collector and enthusiast, and is proud of his role as a husband and father.
